Some love stories take time. Danielle & Lehan’s story started all the way back in Grade 8, long before either of them realised where life would eventually lead them.
Years later, when matric farewell season arrived, friends randomly paired them together for the dance. What seemed like a simple arrangement quickly became something much more meaningful. While taking photos before the event, the photographer asked them to look at each other, and in that quiet moment, something changed.
That was the beginning.
After five years of dating, countless memories together, and a relationship built on friendship first, Danielle & Lehan said “I do” at the beautiful Oakfield Farm.
Oakfield Farm was the perfect setting for their wedding day. The gardens were lush, the light soft and romantic, and every part of the venue added to the atmosphere of elegance and warmth. From emotional moments during the ceremony to the laughter shared throughout the reception, the entire day felt relaxed, joyful, and deeply personal.
One of the most special things about photographing Danielle & Lehan was seeing how naturally they connect with each other. There’s a comfort between them that only comes from years of friendship and growing together. Nothing felt forced, just genuine love, quiet moments, and two people completely at ease in each other’s presence.
Their wedding was a reminder that sometimes the best relationships begin unexpectedly. A random matric farewell pairing turned into a lifetime together.
