Alicia and Johan’s story began a decade ago during their first year at university. They quickly became inseparable, navigating the chaotic world of student life as absolute best friends.
While the spark was always there, they never actually dated during those early years. Life eventually took them on slightly different paths, causing them to drift apart for about two years. However, true connection never really fades; they stayed in touch as friends, always anchored to one another.
As they neared the end of their studies, fate brought them back into the same orbit when they started working together. That old familiarity instantly sparked into something deeper. They became closer than ever, and in 2019, they officially started dating.
The reaction from their friends and family? "Finally!" Absolutely no one was surprised. They were always meant to be.
In 2021, Johan popped the question, setting the stage for a wedding that would take place exactly 10 years to the day after they first met.
When it came to choosing a venue, Usambara provided the ultimate romantic backdrop. The Forest Chapel, with its towering trees, dappled sunlight, and serene natural ambiance, felt like a fairytale brought to life.
